He says to our friend he doesn't like me, yet afterwards he says to me that he lied and likes me?

Shall I move on ? Being straightforward doesnt hurt anybody, does it... :/ Now he's just crushed my trust, as I dont know who is he lying to. I've previously said to him I'm there for him and we are friends, but now... I dont even know whether to talk to him.
