Highway patrol/ state trooper acting out of line!!?

That sounds a little suspicious. I would go to the court, but tell them that whole story. It almost sounds like he was a perv, with all of those specific questions, not related to ANYTHING about what was happening. You could probably file a complaint or something, because that just sounds wrong.
