Should i call my boss or wait for her to call?
so here's the scoop: i'm 17 and work at a restaurant owned by a couple, tom and tracy. about three weeks ago, i talked to tracy, who does the weekly schedule, that i was going to look at colleges out of state so i wouldn't be available to work, i wrote it down on a slip of paper and on the master calendar in the kitchen, and she said it was fine. well when tracy made the schedule for this week, she accidentally forgot to take me off for sunday, but knew i wouldn't be there because i was still out of town. so sunday night, tom saw me on the schedule and when i didn't show up, he called and fired me. so my question is, should i call tracy to try and straighten things out or wait for tom and tracy to talk it over and call me?
