Low-shedding dog--for a MAN?

Terriers are low shed breeds. There are lots of them like Airedales, Standard or Giant Schnauzer's,Soft-coated Wheaten terriers, and Kerrie Blue Terriers, that are on the larger side and are very active dogs. Also Portuguese water dogs are an active working breed with a good personality. Don't groom them in that weird lion cut and they look cool.
