Is the pain of my first time over?or did itnot go deep enough?

I am 16 and recently had for the first time with someone I love, and although it hurt abit, it wasnt too bad, but looking back, im not sure if he was in me properly, i felt him enter me, an it seemed to work well, but then there felt like there was another very tight page to get through a few more inches inside me, which when probed, felt slightly tender... He came after five minutes of quite fast , but i just want to know whether i REALLY had , or whether it needs to go alot deeper to count... Is the painfull part not over yet?!? please help me! I just really really want to know if its gonna hurt even more if i want him to go deeper next time..
